I went up the road past Deer Lake just to see where it went and how it was. Rode a total of 30 miles one direction. The road is excellent and the scenery was really nice. On the way out, I stopped and talked to a couple of Forest Service Firefighters from Idaho whose job it was to spot new fires and stop them before they spread.
Nice little forest service park to the side of the road.
Lots of ranch land along this route.
I went to the left here.
I took a 4WD road to the left and took this picture from above.
At the end of my 30 miles of riding, I came upon this old settlement. The sign identified this building as previously being a store.
